The campaign ‘BBVA without arms’ has contributed to the following:

1) In accordance with its environmental policy, BBVA has ended its participation in the hydroelectric dam ‘HidroAysen’ in Chilean Patagonia.

2) BBVA has prohibited, in its regulations, the financing of operations related to cluster bombs and weapons of mass destruction.

 
Despite these changes, we believe that BBVA still has a lot of work to do given that its rules and regulations leave a fair amount to be desired.
