Fourty-two institutions have provided financial support with more than €1.37 billion to the Spanish military-industrial complex from 2007 to 2011. Most prominent are: Bankia, Liberbank, Banco Santander, Caixabank, BBVA, Catalunya Caixa, Banco Popular, Banco Sabadell, Ibercaja and Bankinter.
